The Seahorse ⎜by Jessica HOOLEY
Ce produit est actuellement épuisé.
This beautiful drawing made by talented artist Jessica Hooley, founder of The Abandoned Canvas, represents a Seahorse. It was produced as part of a collaboration with Apostrophal and with the aim of raising awareness around the marine pollution. It was inspired by Justin Hofman's photo taken a few years ago of a seahorse holding a discarded cotton swab with his tail, an alarming indication of the pollution affecting our oceans today.
The artwork is realised with the use of only a ballpoint pen. It lies on a paper taken from a second hand notebook that Jessica purchased from a charity shop. A way for the artist to upcycle and reuse the material she finds around her, with the environment in mind and the objective of lowering the waste we generate.
The drawing comes in a dark blue mount card (see photo), ready to be placed in the frame of your choice to be hanged on a wall or displayed on a table.
