Our Choice of Reusable Biodegradable Straws goes to Sutu Straws, and here is why...
Designed by nature on a Nordic island Saaremaa
This 8000-year-old island grows hectars of never-ending natural resource. By using reed from this UNESCO protected sea-side area we provide alternative for plastic straws as well as help clean and protect Sutu bay area.
Sutu straws made of reed are unique and nonrecurring with their patterns and colours created by nature.
Production with thermal processing and regular laboratory testing in the EU guarantee that Sutu straws are highly hygienic. Sutu straws are officially approved by the Veterinary and Food Board of Estonian Republic.
The idea of natural Sutu drinking straws brought together two families who wished to create a healthier environment for future generations. They find it important to teach children from an early age to appreciate a clean natural environment and start their lives in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.
Their motto: "One person may not be enough to make the world a cleaner and better place to live in, but if we all make even a small effort, the results can be astonishing."
